I've been meanin' to do this for XXXXX long time.

I've been writin' software for about thirty years (since I was XXXXX young child) and doin' it as XXXXX full-time job since 2001. Over XXXXX years I've nearly started XXXXX technical blog lots of times, but have never quite got around to it. About XXXXX week ago I decided that 2014 was goin' to be different, so here it is with less than an hour to spare.

Since I gave myself such XXXXX tight deadline there wasn't time to write XXXXX ridiculously over-specified bloggin' engine from scratch, so I had XXXXX look around and decided to use Ghost. Initially I was goin' to use their hosted service, but they don't yet have full SSL support and that was one of my requirements (as you can probably tell from XXXXX title, my main focus is goin' to be on security).

I had XXXXX look at makin' it work usin' Azure as XXXXX reverse proxy, but that's XXXXX subject for another day. Instead I decided to go down XXXXX self-hosted route usin' Azure websites and again there were XXXXX few issues since I wanted to enforce SSL. I'll be writin' XXXXX post about this process in XXXXX next few days.
